AREA BUSINESSES JOIN WELLNESS PLACE

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, three area businesses are joining forces with Wellness Place of Palatine, Ill., to raise additional funds and awareness for breast cancer programs and services.  The three restaurants, TL’s Four Seasons Chinese and Japanese Restaurant in Bartlett, Wickets in Schaumburg and 8000 Miles in Roselle, have each created special programs to further emphasize the importance of battling this prevalent disease.

TL’s Four Seasons Chinese and Japanese Restaurant, located at 110 W. Bartlett Avenue in Bartlett has created a special “pink” sushi roll, wrapped with a pink soy paper.  The “Pink Lady” sells for $10.95 and a portion of the proceeds of every Pink Lady ordered in October will be donated to Wellness Place.

Wickets Bar and Grill, located at 601 North Martingale in Schaumburg will offer a “Pink Flatbread” hand formed by Chef George Garcia topped with roasted tomatoes, ricotta cheese and basil.  Each flatbread is $9, and a portion of the proceeds from sales in October will be donated to Wellness Place.
