The will hold a fundraiser at 399 N. Quentin Road on June 23.
For $35 a person or $50 for a pair, attendees will receive one drink, appetizers, and participation in three events: a closest to pin competition, longest drive, and a putting contest.
“It’s cool that it’s indoors,” Senior Center spokesperson Julie Selof said. “You don’t have to worry about the weather and we have a lot of great prizes to give away."
Selof said participants in the raffle have a chance to win one of 11 prizes including four-day passes to Gold Nation, two hours in the golf simulator, wine tasting for up to 30 people, and a gourmet coffee maker. Raffle tickets run one for $5 or three for $10.
If attendees provide an e-mail they will automatically receive a Golf Nation complimentary day pass.
“I think this is going to be a great event,” Selof said. “We’ve got a lot of wonderful prizes and it’s a great cause.”
Walk-ins are welcome as tickets will be available at the door, or tickets can be purchased ahead of time by contacting Selof at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 847-991-1112.
According to the Senior Center’s website, the Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bring programs and services to support the area’s senior citizens. The Senior Center provides nutritional, educational, health, casework, and recreational work for seniors throughout the northwest suburbs. All funds collected from the event will be used to continue achieving those goals.
