Palatine's Hometown Pride Winners
The Beautification Commission set to present Palatine's Hometown Pride Awards.
The owners of six properties are to be honored at the Village of Palatine Council meeting Monday night. The Beautification Commission will present each of the owners with the “Hometown Pride Award.”
The Village of Palatine started “The Hometown Pride Award” 19 years ago, designed to recognize the efforts of individuals, businesses, and organizations that have beautified their surroundings for the pleasure of all citizens.
The idea is to award the owners of properties whose curb appeal is an asset to the appearance of the community. Ten nominations were submitted this year; members of the Beautification Commission acted as judges and reviewed all of the photos entered in the contest.
