Palatine is experiencing flooding at various locations after the storm Friday night and early Saturday morning.

More than 7 inches fell in the village in the last 24 hours. Updates to come. Currently the intersection of Smith and Colfax is closed.

Several of these photos were taken by Sharon Rochfort, property manager of Park Towne Condominium Association. The images chronicle some of the flooding that occurred between 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.

According to Rochfort, two off duty Carol Stream firefighters who were at Durty Nellie's went through the entire parking lot to make sure there were no people trapped in vehicles.
