Inverness Man Sentenced in Palatine Retirement Home Burglary

The burglary occurred around 3 a.m. on Jan. 27, according to the Daily Herald.

An Inverness man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation for taking a flat-screen TV from the Tamarack Retirement Home in Palatine earlier this year, according to the Daily Herald. 

Leonardo Adames, 33, was ordered to pay $500 in restitution and to serve 24 months of Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities (TASC) probation, according to the Daily Herald. 

TASC works with men and women whose alcohol and drug problems have contributed to their involvement in nonviolent criminal behavior, according to the Illinois TASC programs website.
