Grab & Go Kids Planner: Puppet Show, Classic Karate Championship

Here are our suggestions for some fun things to do with your kids this weekend.

Why Go?: Enjoy a puppet show by the Palatine Puppet Players, meet and greet the puppets after the show.

Why Go?: Celebrate spring with high school baseball games and cheer on the Pirates.

Pricing: Free 

Where / When: ; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Friday, March 25.

Why Go?: Stop in the library and create a simple craft with your children.

Pricing: Free

Where / When: ; 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, March 25.

Why Go?: Swim, check out the playmaze, play basketball, try the climbing wall with your kids.

Pricing: Free for Buehler Y and Metro Association Members; $20 per family if non-members.



Where / When: ; 4:30  and 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 25.

Why Go?: Experience local sports and cheer on the Pirates.

Pricing: Free

Where / When: , Gymnasium, Building M, 1200 W. Algonquin Rd., Palatine; 8 a.m., Sunday, March 27.

Why Go?: Watch highly competitive athletes in action during this all day Illinois Shotokan Karate Club tournament.

Pricing: $5 for adults; $3 for children 5 - 14; $3 for seniors 65 and older; free for children 4 and under.
