Find out what's happening in Palatinewith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Where / When:; 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday, June 24.

Why Go?: The band Second Time Around will perform classic rock and blues by Deep Purple, Yes and more. The concert is free. Pack a picnic, bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of music and fresh air. If it rains, the concert will be canceled.

2. 

Where / When:; 4 p.m. to midnight., Friday, June 24; 3 p.m. to midnight,  Saturday, June 25; 3 p.m. to midnight, Sunday, June 26.

Why Go?: Festival of Greek culture, delicious ethnic food, wine and beer, Greek pastries, music, dancing, kid games, raffle and vendors.  Park at Harper College or Marion Jordan School and take the free shuttle bus.  Rain or shine, Greek Fest is sure to be a great time! 

Pricing: $ 2 admission for adults; free for kids 12 and under

Where / When: ; 7:30 p.m., Saturday, June 25.

Why Go?: Three act ballet performed by students, presented by Ballet North.

Pricing: $28 for adults; $22 for seniors, students and children at the door

Where / When: , 542 Colfax St., Palatine;  7 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Saturday, June 25.

Why Go?: Visit the twenty-seven vendors who will be selling their farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, organic meats and eggs, cheeses, spices, olives, pickles and much more.

Pricing: Free admission

 

5.

Where / When: ; 12 - 4 p.m.; Sunday, June 26.

Why Go?: The Palatine Historical Society invites you to come out and enjoy seven beautiful gardens with statues, a waterfall and plenty of perennials in bloom. Visit the Clayson House or the park district for tickets and a map. Proceeds will be donated to the cemetery improvement fund.

Pricing: $15 per person

 

6.

Where / When: ; 10 p.m. - 3 a.m., Saturday, June 25.

Why Go?: 20 Over performs straight ahead rock from the 90s to present by Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Tonic, Weezer and more. The house will be full so be sure to arrive early. Great food and drink specials. Must be over 21 to attend.

7. Atomic Punks

Where / When: ; doors open at 9:30 p.m., show at 10 p.m.

Why Go? The Atomic Punks are a Van Halen tribute band that formed in 1994.

Pricing: $7 cover

 

8.

Where / When: Viper Alley, 275 Parkway Dr., Lincolnshire; 8:30 - 10 p.m., Saturday, June 25.

Why Go?: Experience an authentic tribute to Led Zeppelin. Vintage stage gear, costumes and special effects along with Zeppelin music from the 70s performed by Kashmir.

Pricing: $8 - 25
