Gas prices are finally going down for Palatine drivers.
The average price of gasoline in the Chicago suburbs has dropped by 9 cents in the past week to $3.91 per gallon, the Chicago Tribune reports. The newspaper says moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the drop in price.
Gas prices are even lower in Palatine. As of Monday night, the following gas stations had the lowest gas prices, according to GasBuddy.com:
- $3.79 per gallon at the Marathon, 20235 N. Rand Road
- $3.84 per gallon at Palatine Oil Company, 515 W. Colfax St.
- $3.87 per gallon at Delta Sonic, 1245 E. Dundee Road
