Palatine Chamber Names Kerry Lavelle as Business Leader of the Year

Kerry M. Lavelle, a resident of Inverness and Saint Viator High School graduate has been named as Business Leader of the Year by the Palatine Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented at the Chamber’s annual Installation Dinner in February.

The nineteen attorney firm that he founded, Lavelle Law, Ltd was recognized by the Chamber as Business of the Year in 2009. Since founding the firm as a single attorney practice in 1989, Lavelle has overseen its growth, including a decision to leave their headquarters in the Chicago Loop and relocate to Palatine in 2003.

“I am honored to receive this award from my peers in the Palatine business community but need to acknowledge the Partners, Associates, and staff at Lavelle Law, Ltd who are committed to providing excellent legal services and being good corporate citizens day in and day out,” Lavelle said. “We are grateful to have built outstanding relationships with so many other vibrant and successful businesses in the Palatine area.”

Lavelle and many of his partners and attorneys are active members of the Palatine Chamber. A decade ago they organized and now run the annual Palatine Food Drive to serve the Palatine Township Food Pantry, an effort which has garnered awards and recognition from the Village and the Township.
