Vision for Vacancy: Former Anthem Grill

This 10,000 sq. ft. building near the intersection of Quentin and Euclid has been vacant since 2011, what do you think would be the next best use of this property?

Vision for Vacancy

The former Anthem Grill closed its doors in July of 2011 after a little more than two years in business, and the 10,000 square foot property located at 704 W. Euclid Avenue has been vacant ever since.

Prior to being Anthem Grill, the building housed Marlowe's restaurant for a number of years.

Mid-America Group Asset Management, Inc. has the space for lease in the Regency Shopping center near the intersection of Euclid and Quentin.

A number of options for a future use of the building would be considered, according to broker Samantha Spinell. The property could be utilized for one business, broken up into two or more spaces or demolished for a brand new use.

What is your Vision for Vacancy at the former Anthem Grill location? Share your thoughts in our comments section below!

I did like it as Marlowe's but it was seriously overpriced.. And as Anthem Grill it was satisfactory, just nothing special, and again, overpriced.. The location is great, just need a restaurant or bar that can fit the area, and if you want to have high end prices, the service and food is required to be top notch. Or the fate will be the exact same as before..

This would be a perfect location for an Exotic Dance Hall

Paul, I partially agree. Jello wrestling is ok but there should be pole dancing too.

A good steak place but reasonable priced or tilt a kilt

Coopers Hawk would be excellent in that space. I also think Regency Plaza definitely needs a Chipotle and Jamba Juice for sure and maybe even Red Mango.

OK We live right across the street and LOVED MaRLOWE'S - great food always - Pleeze dont put a sports bar there - they are a dime a dozen in the NW suburbs - The food was terrible at Anthem - how manyburgers and fries can you eat or just plain fast food deep fried - yuk I agree a great Breakfast/lunch type place like Walker Brothers in Lake Zurich & Arl. Hts -Buffalo Grove -( not Richard Walkers in Schaumburg) The place is always packed - has consistently good food and is a bigger place - which could work in that space - the neighborhood is loaded with families - They are much better than Wildberry too !
