Palatine T.J. Maxx and Home Goods Moving to Former Linens and Things Location

The retailers reportedly signed a 10-year lease for the 50,000-square-foot space in the retail building at 605-689 E. Dundee Road, according to CoStar Group.

Local retailers T.J. Maxx and Home Goods will officially be moving, with a plan to open a new store by this summer in the former Linens 'n Things location at 605-689 E. Dundee Road, according to CoStar.com.

Deputy Village Manager Mike Jacobs said the businesses plan to make some minor modifications to the exterior of the building, and will need to obtain building permits.

Otherwise, the space is zoned for retail and a clothing store is a permitted use for the 50,000 square foot space, so beyond building permits, the retailers can essentially move right in.
