The popular "ballet barre workout," geared toward women, is coming to Kildeer. Experience a complimentary class at Pure Barre on Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Pure Barre's new studio, located at 20771 N. Rand Rd., Kildeer, is owned by Emma Pollert and officially opens Jan. 13.

"We are thrilled to bring Pure Barre to Kildeer. We have loved the enthusiastic and energetic response throughout the entire Kildeer community. There is something for everyone at Pure Barre, and we invite all to come see us in our studio," Pollert.

The ballet barre workout has exploded in popularity since its inception in 2001. Focusing on the areas of the body women struggle with the most, Pure Barre lifts the seat, tones the thighs and upper body, and creates the long and lean muscles of a dancer through small isometric movements centered around a ballet barre. Since it began franchising in 2009, more than 186 Pure Barre studios have opened nationwide, according to a press release.

Pure Barre Kildeer is currently offering a new client special for 30 days of unlimited classes for $99.

Classes are already forming at the new Pure Barre studio, which will operate seven days a week, morning and afternoon classes. Registration can be done in person, online or by calling (847) 550-8355.
