New CVS Caremark Facility Hiring

The CVS facility is located in Mount Proposect.

CVS Caremark has added a $67 million mail service pharmacy and customer center in Mount Prospect and is currently hiring, according to the Daily Herald.

A representative with CVS Caremark said the facility will employ about 400 people by the end of the year. The facility is already partially staffed.

The 150,000-square-foot facility is located on Wall Street near Algonquin in Mount Prospect, according to the Daily Herald.

Gov. Pat Quinn joined the CVS Caremark President and CEO and other state and local officials to tour the new facility in Mount Prospect on Tuesday, according to a CVS Caremark press release. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the new facility.

"This new CVS Caremark mail service pharmacy and Customer Center is a great example of our commitment as a pharmacy innovation company to helping people on their path to better health," said Larry J. Merlo, President and Chief Executive Officer, CVS Caremark, in the news release. "The combination of technologically advanced automation and the expertise of our highly qualified pharmacy teams help us ensure people have convenient access to affordable medications."
