In the mood for ice cream? How about free ice cream?
Today, from 12 to 8 p.m., is Free Cone Day at participating Ben & Jerry's scoop shops, according to the Ben & Jerry's Facebook page.
The Ben & Jerry's at 807 North Quentin Road in Palatine is participating in today's Free Cone Day, which allows visitors to the store to enjoy a free cone or cup of ice cream, according to Ben & Jerry's.
There is one other Ben & Jerry's in the Chicago area that is participating in the Free Cone Day at The Glen Tower Center, 1860 Tower Drive in Glenview.
