Ditka's Restaurant to Open Tuesday in Arlington Heights

The Arlington Heights restaurant will be the third — and the largest — of the restaurant run by the former Bears coach, according to media reports.

Ditka's Restaurant is slated to open Tuesday in Arlington Heights.

The 25,000-square-foot restaurant will be located at the Trackside off track betting facility, which is near Arlington International Racetrack at Euclid Avenue and New Wilke Road, according to the Daily Herald.

Ditka’s Restaurant will operate in the dining room area on the first floor of the facility which will include space for private dining and banquet options with off-track betting areas located on half of the main floor and the entire second floor, according an Arlington Park press release.

The new restaurant is the third — and largest — of the restaurants run by the former Bears coach and will have almost 150 employees, according to the Daily Herald.

“I’m very happy to be involved with Arlington. They do things in a first class manner,” said Mike Ditka in a news release. “I can’t think of a better location than Trackside at Arlington. It is exciting to be opening a third Ditka’s in Chicagoland.”
