Old Glory flies behind the shrouds looking up the mast of the USS Constitution. The three masted frigate is the world oldest commissioned warship afloat. The 44 gun warship was built in Boston and launched for October 21, 1797. "Old Ironsides" was taken out of service in 1855 but had not fired a shot in battle since February 1815 at the end of the War of 1812.
