The 6th annual Sinatra and Pasta, a fundraiser and food drive for the benefit of Journeys from PADS to HOPE, will be held on Thursday, December 1st from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Durty Nellie’s Band Room located at 180 N. Smith Street in downtown Palatine.

Admission to the event is $15 at the door and open to the public.  Attendees are encouraged to bring two non-perishable food items for Journeys food pantry.

In addition to non-perishable foods such as canned tomato sauce and paste, instant mashed potatoes, crackers, muffin mix, jelly, tuna, cereal, rice, tuna and hamburger helper as well as peanut butter, the food pantry is in need of can openers, condiments and plastic silverware.  “Journeys is there to help.  Help get people on their feet and secure gainful employment in an effort to battle homelessness and near homelessness,” said event coordinator Liz Noe of ElizEvents. “I’m excited to be part of this annual effort to fill their pantry for the upcoming winter.”

“I’m excited to once again perform at Durty Nellie’s," said Magdal.  "Performing on stage is a passion of mine and it is a special treat to be back for my 6th year.” Magdal concentrates on performing in the Chicago market and has been privileged to perform at some of the finest of establishments in the area, including the Drake Hotel, Portofinos and Cy's.
