Congressman Joe Walsh to speak at PTRO Meeting

PTRO to feature Congressman Joe Walsh at their June 2nd regular monthly meeting.

The Palatine Township Republican Organization (PTRO), the official Republican organization of Palatine Township, will feature Congressman Joe Walsh at their regular monthly meeting which is free and open to the public on Saturday, June 2nd starting at 9:00 AM with the doors opening at 8:30 AM at the PTRO office at 839 N. Quentin Road in Palatine.

“Our meeting will feature Congressman Walsh,” said Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Committeeman.  “Joe will be discussing his race against Democrat Tammy Duckworth and her belief that those who believe in fiscal responsibility are ‘crackpots.’  He will also be updating attendees on the big issues facing Congress, including his recently adopted Walsh Amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act which will help solve high unemployment among America’s youngest veterans.”

Founded in 2010 by newly elected Palatine Township Republican Committeeman Aaron Del Mar, PTRO coordinates the Republican Party’s efforts in the township.  Led by Del Mar and President Collin Corbett, PTRO promotes the foundational principles of the Republican Party, namely fiscal responsibility, personal accountability and limited, transparent government, and works to elect Republican candidates who espouse those principles.
