Congressman Joe Walsh to Speak at PTRO Meeting

The Palatine Township Republican Organization will feature Congressman Joe Walsh at their regular monthly meeting on Saturday, September 3rd at the PTRO office at 839 N. Quentin Road in Palatine.

If you want to have a chance to sit down face-to-face with your Congressman, here is your opportunity.

The Palatine Township Republican Organization (PTRO), the official Republican organization of Palatine Township, will feature Congressman Joe Walsh at their regular monthly meeting which is free and open to the public on Saturday, Sept. 3rd starting at 9 a.m. with the doors opening at 8:30 a.m. at the PTRO office at 839 N. Quentin Road in Palatine.

“Our meeting will feature Congressman Walsh,” said Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Committeeman. “Joe will be discussing the debt crisis, his vote against raising the debt ceiling and his push to cut, cap and balance the U.S. budget. He’ll also touch on TEA party members being called terrorists, his plans for the 2012 elections and the downgrade in the U.S. credit rating.”

Founded in 2010 by newly elected Palatine Township Republican Committeeman Aaron Del Mar, PTRO coordinates the Republican Party’s efforts in the township.  Led by Del Mar, Committeewoman Sharon Langlotz-Johnson and President Collin Corbett, PTRO promotes the foundational principles of the Republican Party, namely fiscal responsibility, personal accountability and limited, transparent government, and works to elect Republican candidates who espouse those principles.
