The American Legion Auxiliary is holding a dinner and a movie to celebrate Valentine’s Day which is open to the public on Saturday, February 11th at the American Legion Hall 122 West Palatine Road in Palatine to raise funds for Legion Family Charities.

“We’d like to invite all the sweethearts in our community to come out and celebrate Valentine’s Day at our dinner and a movie,” said Judy Kyska, Auxiliary Commander.  “The dinner will run from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  At 8:00 PM, we’ll be showing the classic Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr movie An Affair to Remember.  All throughout dinner and the movie you’ll be able to purchase raffle tickets for some fabulous prizes.”

Tickets are $15.00 for a 12 oz. strip steak dinner and $18.00 to add three jumbo shrimp to the meal.  To accompany your main course, the Auxiliary will be serving a baked potato, salad, mushrooms and onions, corn, rolls and butter and dessert.  A full service bar will be open during dinner and the movie.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance from the clubroom bartender.
