Viewfinder: Fremd Band Benefit

The Fremd Band hosted its 8th annual benefit dinner this week.

Members of the Fremd High School Jazz Combo and Flute Choir entertained more than 300 dinner guests in the cafeteria during the Fremd Music Association’s 8th annual Band Benefit dinner.

The dinner also featured a raffle with cash prizes. Profits from the dinner and raffle are used to fund all areas of the band program including the purchase of new instruments. The benefit raised about $8,700.

Following the dinner, a concert featuring all 260 musicians in four symphonic bands was held in the school’s auditorium.
