On Saturday, the folks from the Arlington Heights Historical Museum are hosting an event with the reading of scary stories at the Müller House.
Set in the Museum's Victorian era home, readings by professional actors from The Guild Theater are sure to thrill and entertain. The Guild Theatre is a professional equity company that performed "Tales of Poe" last year at the Müller House and has worked with Des Plaines History Center.
There will be two show times available at thome, which is at the corner of Vail and Freemont Streets. Two show times are available: 4:00-5:00 p.m. and 5:15-6:15 p.m.
The event is for adults and youth ages 12 and over, although museum officlas highly recommend ages 12-15 attend with an adult. To register online, go to ahmuseum.org/ClassesPrograms or in person at any Park District registration office.
At the event, you'll hear: The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allen Poe, The Adventure of the German Student by Washington Irving, Harry by Rosemary Timperly, Laura by Saki and more.
