Lamplighter Has Strong June Lineup

Lamplighter Inn has a solid lineup of live music planned through the spring.

As you head into Memorial Day Weekend, you might illuminate the close of spring with a little live music. Take a look at Lamplighter Inn Tavern & Grille's docket of local bands performing there the next several weeks. The venue is located downtown (60 N. Bothwell St.) and offers ample outdoor seating.   • Arthur and Nick – Friday, May 27

Lamplighter is now offering a Family Happy Hour on Fridays, which features an acoustic musician to play outdoors from 4 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Children are welcome. Friday specials include $1 hot dogs, half priced pizzas and appetizers, $3 root beer floats and a Friday Fish Fry.

  • The Scribbles – Saturday, May 28

Take your friends and family to Lamplighter this spring for its Saturday night musical feature. This week, enjoy the distinct sounds of live rock cover band, The Scribbles. The show starts at 10 p.m.

  • Kip Rhoads – Friday, June 3

Family Happy Hour this week features classic rock/pop acoustic guitarist Kip Rhoads 4 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Mr. Rhoads has played many venues throughout the Chicagoland area, and will return to Lamplighter on Friday, June 24.

  • Nate – Friday, June 10

Revel in the outdoors while enjoying featured local musician Nate for Family Happy Hour, 4 – 7:30 p.m. Children welcome.

  • Coreplillar – Saturday, June 11

Make it an evening at Lamplighter for 90s alternative rock cover band Corepillar. Show starts at 10 p.m.

  • Jenny Lupa – Friday, June 17

Family Happy Hour features the smooth sounds of Jenny Lupa, 4 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

  • Ordinary Outcast – Saturday, June 18

If you’re looking to let loose, check out Ordinary Outcast at Lamplighter for a high-energy experience. Ordinary Outcast features a diverse set list from artists like Gin Blossoms, Rick Springfield, Greenday, Beastie Boys, Pink, Outkast, Better Than Ezra and more.   • Kip Rhoads – Friday, June 24
  • 20 Over – Saturday, June 25
