Goebbert’s Farm Ready for Fall Fest

South Barrington farm, celebrating its 65th year, opens its Fall Fest this weekend.

If you’re still clinging to the bygone days of summer, this will shock you into fall. Goebbert’s Farm is opening its Fall Fest this weekend.

Goebbert’s Farm and Garden Center is celebrating its 65th year in business and kicks off its Fall Fest on Saturday, September 21. It has two locations, at 40 W. Higgins Road in South Barrington and 42W813 Reinking Road, in Hampshire.

The farm has fall favorites like roasted sweet corn, fresh apple cider doughnuts and caramel apples along with lots of activities for the kids.

Over the years, Goebbert’s has added to its fest and has more than 50 animal displays including one where families can feed a giraffe.

Pig racing, pony rides, camel rides, a corn stalk maze, wagon ride and jumping pillow are some of the other activities on the farm.
