Sinatra and Pasta Night to Benefit Area Homeless and Near Homeless Residents

The 6th annual Sinatra and Pasta, a fundraiser and food drive for the benefit of Journeys from PADS to HOPE, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Durty Nellie’s Band Room, located at 180 N. Smith Street in downtown Palatine.

Admission to the event is $15 at the door and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring two non-perishable food items for Journeys food pantry. 

In addition to non-perishable foods such as canned tomato sauce & paste, instant mashed potatoes, crackers, muffin mix, jelly, tuna, cereal, rice, tuna/hamburger helper and peanut butter, the food pantry is in need of can openers, condiments and plastic silverware.

Attendees will be treated to an unlimited pasta dinner buffet, raffle prizes, and an evening Tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes by performer Sam Magdal. Magdal has captured hearts and aroused the romance in his audiences for years with his gifted talent to perfectly match the voice and stylization of Frank Sinatra.
