Ron Hawking sang before he could talk. He appeared on television before entering school and won talent competitions before he could tell time. A critic said “his photo should be placed next to the word “entertainer” in the dictionary”.

Attracting a diverse audience, Ron Hawking, knows how to deliver a performance that truly comes from his heart. And, it’s that special quality of performance that allows him to touch the heart of his audience every time he walks onto the stage.

Going well beyond simply creating an impersonation, Ron has an uncanny ability to reinterpret a song and redeliver it with the same vocal charm and charisma that made the original artists so beloved. With classic style and sophistication, Ron Hawking provides the energy and enthusiasm of the legendary singers, songwriters, and music that has touched all our lives.

In 1998, Ron Hawking created, produced and starred in the smash hit show, “His Way” A Tribute to Frank Sinatra. In 1999 he went on to produce and star in the West Coast production of His Way at San Francisco’s Theatre on the Square. The show also played in Las Vegas, as well as other major cities, before returning to Chicago.

In 2002 Hawking opened the His Way Theatre inside studio A at Chicago’s NBC Tower and the show became one of Chicago’s longest running musicals. The “His Way” album, which Hawking also produced, received distribution and airplay not only in the United States, but on the United Kingdom’s BBC as well.

Ron Hawking has performed at New York’s Carnegie Hall with the 40 piece Philly Pops Orchestra under the direction of pianist/conductor Peter Nero that celebrated singer Patti Page and her 50th Anniversary in show-business.

In the fall of 2008 Ron finished filming the Universal Pictures movie “The Express.” It’s the story of the first black NFL player to win the Heisman Trophy. Hawking portrays the part of the Syracuse University play-by-play booth announcer. “The Express” stars actor Dennis Quaid.

In addition to being an accomplished vocalist, he is also one of the country’s leading studio singers and voice-over actors. His voice has been heard on thousands of radio and TV broadcast commercials for such products as Kellogg’s Rice Krispies, Apple Jacks, Raisin Bran, United Air Lines, Budweiser, McDonalds, Kraft Foods, and many more. His voice has also been heard on CBS television’s Syskel & Ebert Show, ABC’s Happy Days Show, and in the movie “Look Who’s Talking!”
