Friday, August 3, Ronnie Rice

Ronnie Rice picked up a guitar when he was 16 years old and hasn’t put it down yet! He began his musical career as a solo performer in Evanston. In the late 1960’s, Ron joined the Chicago-based group The New Colony Six and sang lead vocals on many of their hit records including oldies favorites I Will Always Think About You and Things I’d Like To Say.

This concert series has been made possible through the generous support of many local sponsors, including: Alexian Brothers Health System, Baxter & Beasley, Ben & Jerry’s, CNGM Film Festival, Cornerstone National Bank & Trust, Daily Herald Media Group, Dobby’s World Wide Wine & Liquors, Jason’s Deli, Kiwanis Club of Palatine, Kohring Electric, Lavelle Law, Palatine Ace Hardware, Palatine/Inverness Arts Council, Palatine Women’s Club, Photo’s Hot Dogs, Premier Credit Union, Prudential Starck Realtors, TCF Bank, Weber-Stephen Products, and Whole Foods Market.
