The Palatine Park District presents a free family movie night on Thursday, August 16 on the big screen at Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 East Palatine Road, Palatine. The movie will begin at dusk, approximately 8:00pm. Families are invited to bring their blankets, chairs and snacks to the park for this annual outdoor event.

The feature film this year is Puss In Boots. Way before he ever met Shrek, the legendary Puss in Boots goes on a heroic journey, teaming up with mastermind Humpty Dumpty and the street-savvy Kitty Softpaws to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs. It’s the adventure of nine lifetimes!

For more information about this event, please contact Carol Lange, Cultural Arts Coordinator, at 847-496-6237 or clange@palatineparks.org. For weather information on the day of the event, call the information hotline at 847-705-5123, x431.

The mission of Palatine Park District is to provide a variety of safe, enjoyable and affordable parks and recreation facilities and activities that will enhance the quality of life by promoting good health and well-being for all residents and visitors of the Palatine Park District. Blog author Joan Scovic is the Marketing & Sponsorship Coordinator for Palatine Park District.
