Palatine Park District Friday Lunch Special: Barefoot Hawaiians

Palatine Park District brings back the tropical sounds of summer with two Friday Lunch Specials. These hour long concerts are offered free to the community.

On Friday, July 13, head over to Towne Square to enjoy an amazing lunchtime performance by Barefoot Hawaiians.  For over 30 years this professional Polynesian-style performing troupe has thrilled audiences of all ages with their dynamic dances, dramatic drumming, beautifully vibrant costumes, and informative displays of island customs.

On Friday, August 10, Mr. Myers returns to Towne Square blending the tropical sounds of Soca and Calypso with the rhythms of Reggae and Ska.  Their show also includes remakes of your favorite rock and roll and R&B classics.
Performances are held at Towne Square, located at the corner of Palatine Road and Smith Street.  Performances begin at noon and are approximately one hour long. Bring a lawn chair and your lunch, or grab some takeout from a nearby restaurant.  Please note there are no restroom facilities available.
