Northwest Suburban Community Concert Association Presents Chicago Grandstand Big Band
The Northwest Suburban Community Concert Association, in partnership with District 214 Community Education, announces today its opening concert of the 2012-2013 Season will feature the ultimate tribute to the swing and jazz eras, the locally famous Chicago Grandstand Big Band.

The Grandstand Big Band has been an integral part of Chicago's entertainment community for over 30 years. They are led by trombonist / music director Bill Gilardon. This group of 18 performs a classic big band repetoire!
Chicago Grandstand Big Band is a unit of musically invested guys that whole heartedly enjoy playing the likes of Stan Kenton, Quincy Jones, and Count Basie They also include the mellow renditions of Glenn Miller's hits.

The Chicago Grandstand Big Band offers a diverse musical menu. Some are original tunes, many original arrangements that frequent Latin and African rhythms.
The band has been featured on WTTW's "Wild Chicago" and performed at the 25th Anniversary of the Sears Tower. They are well known in the Chicago area.
A truly fun and unique evening of entertainment for all!
