LEGALLY BLONDE - THE MUSICAL
ArtReach Educational Theatre in partnership with Spotlite Theatrix Production Company is staging “Legally Blonde” the musical Aug. 3-5 at the Meadows Center Auditorium, 2850 W. Golf Road, Rolling Meadows.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3; 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5. Tickets are $16 advance and $18 at the door. Call (630) 808-5852. Reservations are recommended; group discounts available.
Sorority star Elle Woods doesn’t take “no” for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone “serious,” Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. The production is being directed by Dan Walsh, of Chicago, with choreography by Walsh; Sheryl Strain of Itasca; Anne Santiago of Los Angeles; Jonah Parra of Palatine; and Olivia DalPorto of Lake Zurich. Musical direction is by Lexi Burkley, of Lake Zurich.
