Durty Nellie's: May Events

, 180 N. Smith St., has a full slate of live entertainment planned for May, a press release states.

Every Thursday, there is no cover charge and Nellie's house bands, Your Villain My Hero & Hit or Miss perform. Durty Nellie's weekend schedule in May is:

• Friday, May 6, Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press followed by Sixteen Candles. Nellie's has Rock Candy playing May 7.
• Dueling Pianos will be back Friday, May 13, followed by Shy Violet and head liner Spazmatics. Saturday May 14, Hi Infidelity will perform.
• Friday May 20, Hairbangers Ball, and on Saturday May 21, Nellie's will have Mike and Joe.
• The Loop will host Echos of Floyd in this month's Monsters of Mock on May 27. Also, 7th Heaven returns to Nellie's May 28 to finish the month off.

The Get Up Kids and Saves The Day will start their summer tour at Durty Nellie's on June 2. Remember to order tickets early.

Every Wednesday is Pub Trivia Game Night and Comedy night. Come in and enjoy daily beer and food specials. Try Nellie's new beer of the month as well. Also, breakfast is being served Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
