Allegro Community Chorus Presented its 9th Annual Holiday Concert

Allegro Community Chorus presented its 9th holiday concert "Home for the Holidays" on Sunday, Dec. 3.

Allegro Community Chorus presented its 9th holiday concert “Home for the Holidays” on Sunday, Dec. 3, to an audience of more than 200 people in Palatine’s Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center.

Directed by Brent Boyens and accompanied by Michelle Nunez, Allegro performers offered old favorites like Sleigh Ride, Do You Hear What I Hear, and Silver Bells, but also some lesser-known holiday pieces like Mary, Did You Know and Carol of the Kings.

Soloists Lindsey Weiss, Deb Cross, Jeanne Surdo, Sheree Sacks, Brenda Korecky, and Ginny Millar presented a 20-minute montage of pieces like Believe and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. The concert also included an audience carol sing-along.
