Buehler YMCA will host a three hour Zumba Fitness Party on Feb. 26.

Buehler YMCA, Palatine is hosting a 3 hour Zumba® FITNESS PARTY on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 from 11 am to 2 pm. This event will showcase the Zumba® instructors from the Buehler YMCA, Foglia, Sage, Lattof and Grayslake locations.

"We expect more than 100 participants from our Chicago-Metro YMCA branches as well as the community at large" stated Senior Zumba Instructor Jennifer Peldiak in a press release."It's about dancing, moving and having fun with friends."

What is Zumba®?

Zumba® Fitness is the only Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot international music, created by Grammy Award-winning producers, and contagious steps to form a "fitness-party" that is downright addictive. "Imagine a room filled with over 100 people…dancing, laughing, cheering and sweating", Peldiak stated in a press release. "There is no exercise experience that compares to the energy of this event."

Tickets are available in advance or on the day of the event at the Buehler front desk.  $15 for Buehler YMCA members and $20 for everyone else. Vendors will be on hand to chat and let you "sample their wares" before, during and after the Fitness Party. Childcare supervision is also available. Youth 12 and older are welcome to participate with an adult.

The Y is a not-for-profit, international organization that advocates youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Since its inception in 2001, the Zumba® program has grown to become the world's largest – and most successful – dance-fitness program with more than 12 million people of all shapes, sizes and ages taking weekly Zumba® classes in over 110,000 locations across more than 125 countries.
