Weather in Palatine: Brace for the Cold

It's going to be a frigidly cold week for the Chicago suburbs. 

A high of only -8 to -12 degrees is expected Monday in Palatine with wind chill values between -35 to -45 degrees during the day, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts between 15 to 30 mph are in the forecast with gusts as high as 35 mph possible.  

Monday night temperatures will be between -11 to -15 degrees. The wind chill values will be between -30 to -40 degrees. 

On Tuesday, the high will range from 1 to 5 degrees. The lowest wind chill values will be between -30 to -40 in the morning. Wind gusts between 10 to 20 mph are in the forecast with gusts up to 30 mph possible. 

On Wednesday, the temps will reach a high of 15 to 19 and there is a possibility of snow, according to the NWS.
