St. Theresa School Students Donate Baby Food, Diapers

More than 500 St. Theresa students walked from school to Cutting Hall for a donation drive to benefit the Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity.

More than 500 students  walked from St. Theresa's School to Cutting Hall for the school's annual donation drive to benefit Preservation of Human Dignity's Baby & Maternity Closet.

"We are so proud of the students and so grateful that St. Theresa continues to coordinate this important donation drive for us," said Patty Branham, PHD's Baby Closet coordinator. "This donation provides us with approximately two months worth of supplies that we can give to families in need."

This year St. Theresa's preschool students also participated.

The students collected diapers, formula, canned baby food, baby bottles, pacifiers and clothing. The items will be given to moms when they visit PHD for counseling and support services.

"Each year we look forward to this amazing outpouring of support from St. Theresa students. They selflessly save their money to buy donations or they collect donations from friends and family to help those they may never meet. It is simply overwhelming."
