Rally Day Celebration at Palatine Church
St. Paul United Church of Christ in Palatine celebrates 'Year of the Child' on Sept. 9.
in Palatine, is encouraging families to celebrate its “Rally Day,” as well as the observance of the ‘Year of the Child’ on Sunday, Sept. 9.
The event coincides with the beginning of the school year and draws attention to the importance of families, which are the building blocks of our community.
“We are very pleased to introduce our new Sunday School program and unveil our remodeled classrooms,” said Rev. David Mercer, Pastor of St. Paul UCC. “We will begin by worshiping as a community of faith at 10 a.m. Afterward, all are invited to gather to dedicate our new Sunday school rooms, and to enjoy lunch and fellowship.”
