Plant a Free Pansy for Mom at the Palatine Farmers Market

The market is open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Palatine Metra station.

Palatine Farmers Market will be offering children of all ages everything needed to plant a pansy for Mom on Saturday, May 12—just in time for Mothers' Day—and it's free.

Featured this week are perannials from the Palatine Garden Club, colorful potted containers and hanging baskets along with organic and local vegetables, free-range hormone-free meats, the cheese people, baked goods, condiments, pastas, sauces, spices, bison steaks, fruit pies and knife sharpening.
