Patch Pets: Won’t You Let Me Be Your Baby?

This sweet senior kitty is young at heart.

My name is Baby, and my story is unfortunately a common story with older pets that end up in shelters.

When my owner passed away, I was left alone and scared in my house all alone. A neighbor picked me up from my home and took me to a shelter, where I was going to be put down just because of my age! Thankfully, Young at Heart Pet Rescue came to my aid, and now I’m safe and sound in their care while I wait for a new family to love.

I’m a 12-years-young Petite Muted Calico, but you’d never know my age based on my looks! I’m great with other cats and came to Young at Heart with my housemate, Pumpkin. We like each other, but we’re not bonded, so though it would be nice to be adopted together, it’s not a requirement.

I am a little shy after all the changes in my life, but I am very gentle and love to give you occasional face rubs once we get to know each other. I’m very sweet and loving, and would love to be YOUR baby!

With a clean bill of health from the vet, I’m ready to begin the next chapter in my life. I may be shy at first, but I’ve got a lot of love to give if you just give me a chance. Why don’t you come meet me at the cat adoption center and see for yourself?

I use my litter box like a good girl, I’m spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. So fill out an adoption application today. I’d love to go home with you tomorrow!
