More than 4,000 climbers took part in the 16th annual Hustle Up the Hancock on Sunday, February 24. Around $1 million was raised for lung disease research programs through the Respiratory Health Assocations.
Palatine resident Sherri Breese finished the full climb in 28th place, while Steve Breese wasn't far behind in 51st place.
Participants can either tackle the 94-story full climb or the 52-story half climb. Other Palatine residents who finished in the top 1,000 full climb are:
