Get a Taste of Ireland At Palatine St. Pat’s Day Irish Market

Get ready to enjoy 16 different vendors selling jewelry, trinkets, Irish wares and much more at the Irish Market to be held in conjunction with the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 16.

When Palatine celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with the “Paint the Town Green” celebration on Saturday, March 16th, revelers will have the opportunity to see a little bit of Ireland at the festival’s Irish Market under a tent at Durty Nellie’s, 180 North Smith Street in Palatine.

“We will be giving the community a taste of Ireland at our Irish Market,” said event coordinator, Liz Noe of ElizEvents. “From 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM the tent in Durty Nellie’s parking lot will become a little piece of Ireland and provide tasty treats, shopping opportunities and the chance to share the green with others.”

Paint the Town Green’s Irish Market will feature 16 vendors.  For the Irish at heart, Bead World will be selling Celtic jewelry, Bonkers Gifts will have Irish trinkets and Long Grove’s Irish Boutique will be featuring their Irish wares.  For those who would like to visit Ireland, McLin Tours and Travels will be able to showcase tour packages and help you book your trip.

To satisfy the taste buds, Signature Sweets will be selling popcorn, Little Sisters of the Poor will have homemade baked goods, Cookie Cards will have tasty treats and Oberweis Dairy will be handing out samples of milk as well as tea.
