Citizens for Conservation Restoration Volunteers Begin Spring Schedule

Starting April 5th, Citizens for Conservation restoration volunteers will begin their Spring workday schedule, working every Thursday and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.  Jobs may include energizing Spring projects such as sowing legume seed, cutting brush, rescuing native plants, and planting sedges, all vital to the continued success and expansion of CFC’s award-winning restorations. 

Meet at the CFC headquarters at 459 West Highway 22 in Lake Barrington.  Look for the white farmhouse with a silo across from Good Shepherd Hospital.  Bring work gloves, dress for the weather. CFC will provide the tools.  For more information, call CFC at 847-382-SAVE (7283).
