Enter the Scarecrows on Parade Contest in Palatine

Contestants will decorate a scarecrow, which will be judged during the Oktoberfest festivities on Saturday, September 21.

Are you creative, and think you could decorate a winning scarecrow? If so, enter the Village of Palatine Beautification Commission’s annual Scarecrow Contest!

Entrants are provided with a wooden [scarecrow] skeleton; materials are donated by the Palatine Home Depot.

There are still several available skeletons right now for those interested in participating in this annual event, which will be judged on Saturday, September 21 during Oktoberfest, which is hosted by the Rotary Club of Palatine.
