Wind Chill Warning in Effect Through Wednesday

Dangerously cold temperatures are forecast through Wednesday.

A wind chill warning is in effect through 9 a.m. Wednesday for much of the Chicago area, according to the National Weather Service. Wind chills of -25 to -35 degrees will occur through early Wednesday.

School Districts 15 and 211 in Palatine have canceled classes for Tuesday, Jan. 28, due to the extreme cold.
