Annual Fall Beer Tasting in Palatine

Enjoy a night of shiny cars, food, games, and beer at Salt Creek Rural Park District's Annual Fall Beer Tasting on Sept. 7.

The Salt Creek Rural Park District is hosting their Annual Fall Beer Tasting on Friday, Sept. 7. The big event starts at 7 p.m. under the tent at the Twin Lakes Recreation Area at 1200 E. Twin Lakes Dr. in Palatine.

This event is well worth the trip, arrive early and check out the first ever Fall Car Show and Shine sponsored by Arlington Heights Ford, the dealership will present the People’s Choice Award at 6:45 p.m. Registration for the show is required but free.

The beer tasting is focused on local breweries in the Chicagoland area. Represented at the tasting; Lakefront Brewery from Milwaukee will bring their amazing Pumpkin Lager along with four other brews, Small Town Brewery famous for their hand-crafted micro beers will have five at the tasting to sample, The Ram Schaumburg will be represented and an IPA from Granite City Food and Brewery in Orland Park.

25 beers are available to taste, $15 registration per person, pre-registration for beer tasting is recommended.
