Wellness Place Announces Newly-Appointed Officers to Board of Directors

Wellness Place, cancer education and support in Palatine, Ill., is pleased to announce a new slate of officers to its board of directors.  The newly appointed officers include Shefali Bhuva of South Barrington, board chair; Cathy Schulze of Lake in the Hills, vice chair; Greg Brebach, M.D., S.C.,  of North Barrington, secretary; and Ken Scott of Lake Barrington, treasurer.

Upon completion of her three-year term, Ellaine Sambo-Reyther has stepped down as chairperson and will continue as a member of the board of directors.  Sambo-Reyther  is vice president and director of trust & estate services for BMO Private Bank.  Incoming chair is Shefali Bhuva, vice president of business development at Living60010.com, a newly launched internet community site uniting residents and business people of the 60010 zip code.

“We are forever grateful to Ellaine for the generous commitment she has made to Wellness Place as chairperson for the last three years,” said Pamela Reiss, executive director for Wellness Place.  “We are so pleased to have Shefali Bhuva as our incoming chair, and we look forward to her continued contributions as we lead Wellness Place into the future.” 

Vice chair Schulze is vice president of BNY Mellon Wealth Management.  Dr. Brebach, who will serve as secretary, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Lake Cook Orthopedics.   Treasurer Scott is founder of Kenneth J. Scott, CPA, Ltd.
