Lavelle Law Launches 10th Annual Palatine Food Drive

What started as an effort to give back to the community after relocating their law firm to Palatine has grown into an annual tradition that now helps serve hundreds of families each month. The first Palatine Food Dive hosted by Lavelle Law, Ltd. in 2004 was so successful it not only provided more food than the Palatine Township Food Pantry could hold, it set in motion a decade of service to that organization. The 10th Annual Palatine Food Drive is now underway with drop boxes located throughout Palatine to accept non-perishable food items along with baby formula and diapers for young families in need.

“We feel very fortunate to be able to rally the community each year for the past decade to help serve the growing number of families in need,” said drive coordinator Heather Slipkevych. “We are committed to assisting the great work done by the Palatine Township Food Pantry and we appreciate the efforts of our sponsors and donors who continue to make it all possible.”  Lavelle Law, Ltd. has received numerous commendations and awards for their charitable efforts, including multiple acknowledgments for their efforts in addressing the growing concern of hunger in the suburban area through the annual food drive.
