Get cooking this summer! Chefs of all skill levels are invited to join the Palatine Library’s Teen Chefs Club. The first 15 participants to register for this weekly program will receive a copy of Teens Cook: How to Cook What You Want to Eat. Weekly programs will feature special guest chefs, group activities, recipe demos, and more. A “Chef of the Week” will be chosen each week to win a prize. Attend 5 out of 7 sessions to be eligible to compete in our Iron Chef competition in August! Cookbooks generously provided by the Friends of the Palatine Public Library. For grades 7-12. More About Palatine Public Library
The Main Library of the Palatine Public Library District is located at 700 N. North Court in Palatine. The district serves more than 90,000 residents, primarily in Palatine and Hoffman Estates. The library has more than 300,000 books, digital audio and e-books, and more than 42,000 movies and music items. The library recently began adding Blu-rays to its collection. The library also carries more than 15,000 magazines. There are five small study rooms and three first floor meeting rooms.
