  2012 \nJUNE 22-23-24\n&nbsp\;The St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church of
  Palatine\, Illinois will be presenting their annual Greek Fest 2012 on 
 Friday\, Saturday and Sunday\, June 22-23-24\, 2012.&nbsp\; Picnic hours
  include Friday\, 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday 3 p.m. to 12
  a.m.&nbsp\; The church is located at the corner of Palatine and Roselle
  Roads\, in Palatine\, Illinois.&nbsp\; The picnic will be held rain or 
 shine.&nbsp\; Admission is $2.00 per person with children 12 years and u
 nder free.&nbsp\; There will be an ATM onsite.&nbsp\;\nParking on site i
 s limited.&nbsp\; There is free shuttle service available Friday\, 5:30 
 p.m. -12 a.m.\, Saturday\, 4:30 p.m.-12 a.m. and Sunday 4:30 p.m.- 11 p.
 m. from the Harper College West Lot (Algonquin and Roselle Roads) and Ma
 rion Jordan School (Palatine and Harrison Ave.\,)\n&nbsp\;This Greek Fes
 t has been a celebration of Greek Hospitality and Culture for over 30 ye
 ars.&nbsp\; Every summer\, Greek Fest attracts thousands of guests who e
 xperience the wonderful fun\, sights\, sounds\, smells and delicious tas
 tes of the Greek culture.&nbsp\; It is the largest single fundraising ev
 ent for St. Nectarios and assists in off setting the costs of running th
 e parish.&nbsp\; The event features a Grand Raffle First Prize of $15\,0
 00.\, with additional daily raffles held as well.\nDelicious authentic G
 reek foods and pastries will be available and a Greek Taverna will serve
  Greek wines and beer.&nbsp\; This picnic is all about food!&nbsp\; Ther
 e will be tender pork shish-ka-bobs\, gyros\, Greek sausages\, pastichio
  (Greek lasagna) salad\, saganaki (flaming cheese)\, spinach and cheese 
 puffs and so much more.&nbsp\; Prices range from $4.-$9.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;
 For the sweet tooth\, an assortment of tasty Greek pastries will be avai
 lable and include Loukoumades &ndash\; made on the premises.&nbsp\; Louk
 oumades are small honey cakes\, similar to donut holes\, fried and dippe
 d in warm honey and sprinkled with cinnamon.&nbsp\; They are served hot.
 &nbsp\; St. Nectarios is said to have the BEST loukoumades in all of Chi
 cago!&nbsp\;\nThe whole family can participate in Greek dancing and musi
 c\, games for the kids and fun shopping at the unique vendors inside the
  gymnasium and outside as well.&nbsp\; Music will include:&nbsp\; Friday
 \, the American band\, Exit 147\, and Saturday and Sunday\, Greek classi
 cs and modern hits from Hellas 2000.&nbsp\; The St. Nectarios Greek Scho
 ol Dance Troupe will entertain Saturday and Sunday evenings as well.&nbs
 p\;\nA convenient drive thru will be available off of Roselle Road for t
 hose customers not able to stay for the fun but wish to enjoy the delici
 ous foods.&nbsp\; Drive thru hours are Friday\, 4 p.m. &ndash\; 9 p.m. a
 nd Saturday and Sunday 12 noon &ndash\; 9 p.m.&nbsp\; Visa\, MasterCard
