DESCRIPTION:Award-winning Theatre Nebula will present the beautiful music
 al revue Songs for a New World by the brilliant composer Jason Robert Br
 own for a limited three weekend run beginning March 2\, 2012 and running
  through March 18\, 2012. &nbsp\;Songs for a New World will be presented
  Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.\, at Cutting  Hal
 l Performing  Arts Center\, 150 East Wood Street\,  Palatine\, Ill.\nThe
 atre Nebula\, which was the recent recipient of the Illinois Theatre Ass
 ociation&rsquo\;s Excellence in Theatre award\, previously produced last
  year&rsquo\;s sellout hit Jesus Christ Superstar and the Midwest premie
 re of Dracula\, the Musical. \nJason Robert Brown\, the author of the mu
 sical says\, "It's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and hav
 ing to make a choice\, or take a stand\, or turn around and go back." Th
 ese are the stories and characters of today\, the Songs for a New World.
   This beautiful musical transports the audience from the deck of a 1492
  Spanish sailing ship to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue to meet a
  startling array of characters ranging from a young man who has determin
 ed that basketball is his ticket out of the ghetto to a woman whose drea
 m of marrying rich nabs her the man of her dreams and a soulless marriag
 e.  With a small\, powerhouse cast and a driving\, exquisitely crafted s
 core running the gamut of today's popular music\, Songs for a New World 
 is a great way to enjoy a night at the theatre.\n&ldquo\;I couldn&rsquo\
